Welcome Lulu!

Lulu is currently working towards her MSc in Biostatistics, with a specific focus on developing
and implementing a novel non-linear mixed effects approach to model HIV viral dynamics. She
completed her BSc in Integrated Science at UBC (2019), studying the crossroads between immunology
and nutrition, and was able to exercise this knowledge through assisting in an iron supplementation
trial in Cambodia. This summer, Lulu will be joining our team to work on a project investigating the predictors of a
hemoglobin response to iron supplementation in Cambodian women. She will also be participating in
the BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute’s Summer Student Research Program.
