Brock wins a NASPGHAN Foundation CPNP Nutrition Research Grant!

This award, provided by the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) Foundation Council for Pediatric Nutrition Professionals (CPNP), will fund a first-of-its-kind study to determine whether inexpensive, commercially available food compounds (obtainable from food retailers) are as effective as costly, industrially available glycerinated food extracts for use in sublingual immunotherapy, a treatment for pediatric food allergies in which small doses of food proteins are provided daily under the tongue for absorption.

Congratulations, Brock!
