We just installed our new Sysmex XN-550 automated hematology analyzer in the NUTRI-HEME lab. We are now set up to perform comprehensive measurements of indicators of anemia and overall blood health. The Symex XN-550 is capable of performing a complete blood count (CBC), which includes the following analysis parameters:
- White blood cell count, Red blood cell count, Hemoglobin, Hematocrit, Mean corpuscular volume (MCV), MCH, MCHC, Platelet count, Red cell distribution width (RDW)-SD, RDW-CV, PDW, MPV, P-LCR, PCT, Neutrophil count, Lymphocyte count, Monocyte count, Eosinophil count, IG count
- Reticulocyte count, Reticulocyte %, IRF, LFR, MFR, HFR, Reticulocyte-Hemoglobin
